Web Design
To increase ease of use when uploading comics to my website, I downloaded a Wordpress theme, Comicpress, and plugin, Comic Easel, used by many popular webcomic artists spanning over decades. The theme includes basic navigation buttons and a post feature for each comic page.
To customise the theme without breaking it, a plugin called Simple Custom CSS was installed, and some CSS features were added to allow more control of my webcomic website. I was able to add Google fonts and control the size of the comic page as a result. |
Customisation of Navigation ButtonsThe navigation buttons were made with Affinity Designer, a robust vector based program that is similar to Adobe Illustrator. The width of each icon was measured within each PNG file, and the buttons were added along with the edited CSS using Filezilla to the Wordpress CMS.
